A resident of Alpine I am best known for my
vibrant use of color. Pastel, being the closest
medium to pure color, is my medium of choice and
I am inspired by the Chihuahuan Desert
surroundings, big Texas skies and the beauty of
sunlight and shadow on people, places and things.
Art should make you happy. I exhibit at the
Catchlight Art Gallery on Holland Street in Alpine
so please stop in and visit. I am a member of the Big

I was born and raised in Alpine, Tx. I live here
primarily but maintain a small home on the island of
Eleuthera in the Bahamas. I am torn between the
two places as my work usually reflects. I have
worked in acrylics, water color and oil pastel.
Much of my work these days is collage which I love.
I use old magazines for my pallet. I have a passion
for recycle/re-purpose art forms. When on island I
create "beach trash" art which I sell in support of
THE OCEAN CONSERVATORY.
