She became involved in the flourishing art community and has enjoyed resuming a life-long love for painting . As a pastel painter , she seeks to recreate the beautiful colors and hues that we encounter as we experience the beauty of the Big Bend area . The blending of the colors across the page recalls God ’ s handiwork in nature and serves as an on-going reminder of His Blessings . Cathy is a member of the Big Bend Art Association , Alpine , Texas , and exhibits her paintings at the Cactus Fountain Studio and Gallery , 205 North State Street , Fort Davis , Texas .
